When I bought my shiny smart TV, I was excited to use all the smart features it offers. Well, why not? I thought these clever features would make a smart TV smarter.
After using my TV for a while, I realized I didn’t even use or need every "smart" feature. My TV was constantly suggesting things I didn’t want to watch and promoted unwanted content on the home screen. I took the charge and started turning them off one by one.
The result? My home screen felt less cluttered, and I stopped feeling as if I was being watched in my living room. Also, it made my TV a lot better to use.
The first thing that annoyed me was how my home screen was filled with ads and promotional offers.
