Meta’s AI upgrade comes with a monthly bill

Meta is attaching price tags to AI power, and creators are one of the targets.

The company just launched Meta One, a subscription service bundling extra AI access with other tools. The timing tracks, since Meta also recently launched Muse, its new AI chatbot.

Subscribers get expanded access to Muse along with other AI-powered creative tools. What that costs depends heavily on which tier you pick, and the range is wider than you might expect.

Meta leans on the word “more” a lot in its announcement without saying how much more. Here’s the breakdown as it stands.

For everyday users, Meta One Core runs $7.99 per month and Premium costs $19.99. Both promise expanded access to Muse plus additional features across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.

Creators and small businesses get their own options. At $14.99, you get the basics along with more access to the Meta Business Agent chatbot. The Advanced plan at $49.99 adds the tools creators may actually care about: 30-day advance scheduling, clickable links in posts and Reels, exportable analytics and a few seats for team members.

The Expert and Max plans, at $149 and $499 per month, target larger teams and businesses. The top tier includes 24/7 access to Meta support specialists, which may be the most valuable perk in the lineup. Reaching an actual human has become nearly impossible across social platforms.

Here’s the part worth watching. Meta is already fielding questions about how it moderates problematic AI-generated content.

Subscribers will get additional computing power for generating images and videos with Muse.
