How To Unlock Vampire Killer In Castlevania: Belmont's Curse

For as long as Castlevania has been around, so has the iconic Vampire Killer whip. Castlevania: Belmont's Curse doesn't let fans down in that regard, as the beloved family weapon is here in a big way.

There are a lot of unlockable weapons in Belmont's Curse, including a range of different whips, but the Vampire Killer is easily the standout and one that many will be waiting for. Here's how to get it.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Vampire Killer is one of the few unlockable weapons in Belmont's Curse that's tied to the story instead of being found in the world. It's pretty late into the game, too, as it's awarded for defeating Death in Notre Dame's Choir room. To even get to Notre Dame, you'll first have to defeat The Occultist in the Library to find Brauner's Paintbrush, and then finish The Artist Tarot card quest.

The Artist's quest can be completed after you've unlocked Smash by defeating The Builder in the Clock Tower. Once you've done that, head to Brauner's Atelier in the Main Hall and break the statue. Once you've absorbed Brauner's Masterpiece Arcana in the next cutscene, go to the Gallery of Eternal Night in the room below, equip it, and inspect the painting. Rose will then have access to Notre Dame, which is where the Death fight is.

To get to Death, Rose will need to clear his magic from the pipes by using specific melodies on the Giant Organ in the Great Organ Room , which you can see the hints for above.
