How To Fast Travel In Castlevania: Belmont's Curse

As you'd expect from the series that inspired a whole exploration-based genre, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse has an absolutely massive map that you'll spend a lot of time running back and forth through.

The amount of backtracking can honestly get a little overwhelming at times and make you beg for an easy way to get around. As it turns out, there actually is one that the game really doesn't spell out for you.

One of the most important things you'll need to keep an eye out for while exploring Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is Mirrors of Life. These big blue mirrors are basically save rooms for Rose that restore her health and set a respawn point for when you die. That's not their only use, though, as they can actually be used as fast-travel points.

To activate fast travel from a Mirror or Life, you'll need to crouch near it for a few seconds, which will cause an animation to play that whisks Rose away to a room filled with mirrors. These mirrors represent the Mirrors of Life you've found across the map, and you can easily teleport to those other locations by crouching in front of them.

Considering how many Mirrors of Life are scattered around the map in Belmont's Curse, they make for a very good method of fast-travelling and getting around easily . Of course, you'll still have to do some backtracking, but it's nowhere near as bad once you know what the mirrors can be used for.
