Greysun is a Senior Editor (Guides) at GameRant, where he oversees game help coverage for everything from the biggest AAA releases to standout indie and live-service titles.
Professionally, Greysun has been writing and editing video game content for over a decade. Before joining GameRant, he spent over four years at Twinfinite, where he worked his way up from Contributing Writer to News Reporter and, ultimately, Features Editor. During that time, he covered major industry news, reviews, guides, and opinion pieces, edited dozens of articles each week, and helped shape the site's content strategy. He has also attended major gaming events such as E3 and PAX, interviewing developers, covering breaking news, and writing opinion pieces on unreleased titles.
Since joining GameRant in 2021, Greysun has served as Lead Guides Editor, planning and managing guide coverage across major releases, coordinating with freelancers, maintaining editorial standards, and writing dozens of articles each month.
A lifelong Nintendo fan since the SNES era, Greysun has a particular soft spot for platformers, JRPGs, and action games that reward curiosity and exploration. He is still patiently awaiting a true sequel to Super Mario Odyssey.
I've played every single mainline Zelda game, and I remember seeing in the trailers for the Ocarina of Time remake that Link can now sprint, which is an awesome update to the almost 30-year-old game.
I'd put about four hours into the remake, and I was waiting for Navi or someone to teach me how to sprint. Like some other video games, I thought the function would eventually unlock after hitting a key moment in the story.
