Battlefield 6 Comes To Game Pass, As $30 Microtransaction That Instantly Unlocks All Guns Is Now Available

It's a big day for Xbox Game Pass, as developer Battlefield Studios has launched Battlefield 6 into Game Pass, and it comes at a big moment for the game.

Battlefield 6 is now available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ($23/month) subscribers on PC and console. It can also be streamed.

The game's arrival in Game Pass is notable because Battlefield 6 was 2025's best-selling game overall in the US, and was released a year ago this month. The game had a very strong start, but player numbers have dropped. Battlefield Studios is attempting to reignite the fanbase in a number of ways, including bringing the game to Game Pass and continuing to support the FPS with big new updates. The latest of these, the Season 5 update, is out today, October 13.

Season 5 adds a new maps, including environments set in Las Vegas and Area 51, while it also brings something fans have been asking for since launch: a proper server browser. Check out the gameplay trailer above to see the Season 5 content in action.

Additionally, Battlefield Studios announced a Game of the Year Edition for Battlefield 6. The biggest selling point for the GOTY edition is the Ultimate Shortcut Kit, which instantly unlocks everything for all four classes, along with one season of Battlefield Pro, among other digital perks and extras.

The Ultimate Shortcut Kit, which was also available in other previous Battlefield games, is available to purchase by itself for $30.
