IGN Fan Fest: Fall Edition is rolling out all week with a ton of first-looks, exclusive reveals, and deep dives into some of the biggest games for PC, consoles, and mobile.
As part of the event, we want to take an in-depth look at what’s next: some games that you haven’t heard of yet but are sure to shoot to the top of your Steam Wishlist.
From co-op survival adventures, brand-new horror games, relaxing survival games, mysteries and even a chess-based shooter, here’s a look at 9 newly announced games that we think are worth a look.
Fall into a chill survival adventure with a talking campfire as your guide. Explore, craft, fish and hunt during the day, and ask your fire three questions each night. Choose wisely: Winter isn't the only surprise in this beautiful, hand-drawn world. Playable in cozy or realistic mode.
Something is wrong with the swamp. Aquamorta is a first-person horror adventure set in a forgotten swamp town, where something ancient has twisted a community into hysteria. Explore abandoned buildings and corrupted waterways surrounding the town. Use an old map and compass to find your way, fish for the blood that keeps your airboat running, and learn what lurks beneath the surface. As you venture deeper into the swamp, you’ll uncover the story of what happened here and what is still missing.
Checkmate Protocol is a chess-themed third-person shooter with unique weapons, chess-themed movement abilities, and unhinged boss battles. Fight alone, or team up with an arsenal of rifles, handguns, and chainsaws to defeat waves of oncoming attackers.
