Bengaluru-based healthcare startup Even Healthcare has raised $50 million in a Series B funding round led by existing investor Khosla Ventures, with participation from Alpha Wave, as it plans to expand its hospital network and strengthen its managed healthcare services.
According to reports, the all-equity investment values Even Healthcare at approximately $300 million, nearly double its $153 million valuation in January 2026. The latest round brings the startup's total funding to more than $120 million.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to open five hospitals in Bengaluru over the next six months, adding to its two existing facilities in the city.
Both hospitals achieved operational profitability, excluding depreciation, within a year of opening, according to co-founder Mayank Banerjee. However, Even Healthcare remains loss-making overall.
Founded in 2020 by Banerjee, Matilde Giglio and Alessandro Ialongo, Even Healthcare operates a membership-based model combining primary care, diagnostic services, hospital treatment and post-discharge recovery.
The startup initially relied on partner hospitals but began developing its own facilities to gain greater control over treatment quality and costs.
Unlike traditional fee-for-service hospital models, Even Healthcare said its doctors receive fixed salaries that are not linked to the number of tests or procedures they recommend. Doctors may also receive bonuses based on patient-reported clinical outcomes.
The startup currently serves around 250,000 members and employs approximately 650 people, including 300 full-time doctors. It has recorded more than 750,000 patient interactions, including consultations, diagnostic tests and surgeries, since launching its services in 2021.
Khosla Ventures, which first backed Even Healthcare through a $5 million seed investment in 2021, has continued to support the company through subsequent funding rounds.
