Pune-based health-tech startup Clinics On Cloud has raised $12.5 million in a Series A funding round from Dubai-based investors through Model42, powered by Enlightened Minds Investments.
The fresh funds will be used to strengthen its artificial intelligence (AI)-led healthcare capabilities, expand research and development (R&D), and grow its connected microclinic network, Clinics On Cloud said in a press release.
The funding will also support the company’s international expansion, with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) serving as its global expansion hub. The company plans to explore opportunities across Africa, the United States and Southeast Asia.
Clinics On Cloud also plans to establish partnerships with healthcare providers, technology companies and organisations seeking to deploy connected microclinics across different markets.
Founded in 2018 by Abhay Agarwal, Clinics On Cloud develops technology-enabled healthcare infrastructure focused on preventive healthcare. The company has recorded over 3,500 deployments and conducted more than 12 million health screenings across eight countries.
Initially focused on Health ATMs, the company has expanded its portfolio to include Health Lounges, Box Clinics and Mobile Medical Units. Its solutions combine preventive health screening, AI-assisted health insights and telemedicine to enable hospitals, pharmacies, healthcare entrepreneurs, corporates and government organisations to establish microclinics across workplaces, housing societies, malls and underserved communities.
The company’s infrastructure has been deployed across government health centres, hospitals, corporate campuses and rural communities, as well as Indian defence establishments, including the Army, Navy and Border Security Force (BSF).
Clinics On Cloud also plans to collaborate with global healthcare innovators to integrate AI and advanced screening technologies into its platform.
