Five Sigma integration aims to improve claims reporting

Insurance technology provider Amarillo has partnered with Five Sigma to connect claims management and delegated authority reporting, aiming to improve data quality and reduce manual processes across the insurance value chain.

Under the agreement, Five Sigma will join Amarillo’s PartnerOrbit network, with its claims management system set to integrate with Amarillo’s Fusion platform. The integration will enable claims data to flow into delegated authority reporting, reducing the need for teams to transfer information manually.

The companies also plan to pursue joint commercial opportunities, targeting managing general agents (MGAs), brokers, insurers and reinsurers.

The partnership addresses a visibility gap in delegated authority operations. Claims information is important for assessing binder performance, but it often sits separately from bordereaux and other reporting data. Bringing these sources together can require additional work and leave insurers with an incomplete view of performance and exposure.

By connecting the systems, Amarillo and Five Sigma aim to give coverholders and insurers better oversight of claims performance and risk. Reducing the need to re-enter information should also help limit errors and inconsistencies in reporting.

The integration is expected to reduce the time teams spend transferring, checking and reconciling data, allowing them to focus more on analysis. More timely and reliable claims information could also support closer monitoring of delegated authority arrangements, faster investigation of discrepancies and stronger compliance oversight.

Five Sigma’s AI-native claims management platform supports the claims lifecycle, from first notification of loss (FNOL) through to settlement. It combines claims expertise with AI-driven capabilities to help claims teams and adjusters process claims more efficiently.
