In the US, Ford has opened order books for the 2027 Mustang Mach-E and introduced a new Trail version designed for light off-road driving. Prices start at $39,995 before delivery charges, with the larger extended-range battery now included as standard.
Previously, a 88 kWh battery was offered as an optional upgrade for the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E, with extended-range versions starting at $45,345. For 2027, it now comes as standard in the Select and Premium variants of the Mustang Mach E, while the performance-focused GT and Rally retain a larger 91 kWh pack. The smaller battery previously offered in the range has been discontinued. Ford estimates that rear-wheel-drive versions equipped with the 88 kWh battery can travel up to 320 miles (515 km) on a single charge under the EPA test cycle, although official range figures for 2027 models are yet to be confirmed.
Where prices are concerned, the entry-level ‘Select’ RWD model starts at $39,995, with the eAWD version costing slightly more at $42,995. The Premium RWD starts at $42,995; the eAWD at $45,995. At the higher-end, the Mach-E GT starts from $50,995 and the Rally at $55,290; both feature eAWD and the larger 91 kWh battery.
One notable new addition to this year’s Mach-E lineup is the ‘Trail’ variant, which is based on the Select all-wheel-drive version and costs $2,295 than it. It features revised suspension with an increased ride height of 10mm at the front and 15mm at the rear. It also includes changes to the steering rack, 19-inch wheels and Michelin CrossClimate 2 tyres taken from the Mach-E Rally.
