2027 BMW X3 M50 Adds Horsepower and a Sinister Appearance Package

BMW urged a further 44 horsepower from the X3 M50’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, bringing output to a cool 437 ponies.

The 2027 BMW X3 is adopting an ominous look thanks to a new optional Black Package. The limited-edition package will only be available for the 2027 X3 M50 xDrive.

The package comes with exclusive 22-inch Jet Black wheels, one inch larger than the wheels offered for the standard lineup. It also comes with gloss black brake calipers finished with a monochrome M logo. The high-gloss M logo is repeated around the X3 M50’s exterior and sports a silver outline to make the badges stand out against the dark backdrop.

Inside, Black Package-equipped X3s feature black Alcantara over the instrument panel, dashboard, center console, door trim, and around the wireless charger. The trim is finished in an aluminum-carbon mix, while the only pop of color is thanks to blue stitching and piping in the seats and the addition of the M colors on the seatbelts and floor mats.

Whether you’re a fan of the Black Package or not, the 2027 X3 M50 comes with updates that may pique your interest. 0-liter inline-six. Commensurate changes to the exhaust system should result in a better-sounding powertrain as well. 0-second run with the 393-horsepower version, we expect to beat BMW’s figure.
