Walmart debuts longer Black Friday, Cyber Monday sales events

The mass retailer’s deal events will total 14 days this season, compared to a total of 10 days of deals in 2025.

Gearing up for the holiday shopping season, Walmart announced dates for its three savings events from November to December.

The mass retailer’s early Black Friday deals will be available from Nov. 12 to Nov. 15, according to a company announcement Monday. The core Black Friday sale will be live from Nov. 23 to Nov. 29 and Cyber Monday will occur from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2.

The announcement marks a slight increase in the total number of sale days compared to Walmart’s 2025 dates. Walmart’s 2025 sales also consisted of three events and totalled 10 days of deals, whereas the 2026 holiday sales total 14 days.

The retailer’s 2025 announcement also contained a sneak peek of listed deals for the first sales event, highlighting specific toys, electronics and more. Walmart didn't highlight specific products in its 2026 announcement and instead broadly highlights that thousands of gifts will be available below $20.

Members of the retailer's paid subscription, Walmart+, will receive various levels of early access to specific deals during the two Black Friday sales events this season, per the Monday announcement.

The retailer earlier this month debuted a new combination membership bundle for Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus. Customers can now purchase both memberships for $120 a year, saving about $100 compared to buying the memberships separately.

“Walmart should be another winner this holiday season … as it offers a wide range of value-focused, trend-right, and discretionary products,” Telsey Advisory Group analysts said in a Monday research note shared with Retail Dive, adding that Target and Costco are also expected to do well during the period.
