Daisy Edgar-Jones was spotted out and about in New York City this Monday combining chic and casual. The actress strutted about the Big Apple in two graphic t-shirts accompanied with high-end footwear that helped elevate the otherwise relaxed attire.
On Monday, Edgar-Jones sported two different bird-themed vintage shirts from the 1999 spring Stella McCartney collection. The “Sense and Sensibility” star paired an airbrushed eagle baseball three-quarter T, sourced from from Emerieu Vintage, with lacy lingerie-inspired silk shorts in a shade of powder blue. She sported a striking pair of white stilettos that transformed what may otherwise have been a just-got-out-of-bed look into a more intentional, playful ensemble.
Edgar-Jones was later photographed in a graphic t-shirt featuring an airbrushed hummingbird drinking nectar from an hibiscus flower. She wore this T-shirt with a pair of Versace contoured leather pants in a chartreuse-yellow shade and a pair of semi-casual strappy silver heels. Once again, the look blended higher-end style choices with a more breezy top.
In many ways, Edgar-Jones wardrobe choices are on trend. The era of graphic t-shirts, once popular in the late 90s and early 2000s, is making a serious comeback. Many stars are seen sporting vintage-inspired casual Ts, including Jennifer Lawrence and Sabrina Carpenter, who’ve both worn the same “Strawberry Fields Forever” Junk Food Clothing T-shirt.
Lawrence was fine pairing her T-shirt with a pair of sneakers, but Carpenter went the route of Edgar-Jones and combined the played-down top with more glamorous accessories.
