New Open-World Simulation Game on Steam Launches to 80% Very Positive Reviews

Car Parking Multiplayer 2, also known as CPM 2, launched on Steam on October 8 and has since earned about 80% positive reviews from nearly 1,500 user ratings. What makes Car Parking Multiplayer 2 a particularly interesting Steam release is that it is completely free to play.

CPM 2 has long been one of the most popular open-world car simulation games on mobile. On the Google Play Store, it has over ten million downloads and an average user score of 4 out of 5 from more than 200,000 reviews. The game has also performed well on the App Store, where it holds an average user score of 4.4 out of 5. Building on its success on mobile, developer OGames has now brought CPM 2 to PC, giving Steam users a chance to try it out as well.

A brand-new co-op game with RPG elements and base-building in an open world is out now and has earned great reviews on Steam.

According to the latest SteamDB data at the time of writing, CPM 2 peaked at over 14,000 concurrent players on Steam shortly after launch. That figure might not seem particularly surprising for a multiplayer open-world sim. However, fans should note that CPM 2 is a mobile game ported to PC, which is relatively uncommon in its own right. Games that make the jump from mobile to PC often struggle to appeal to a new audience. CPM 2, however, has clearly been an exception.

Players enter an open-world map where they can take part in races and other driving activities.
