Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon Take the Big Bag Revival to San Sebastián Film Festival

His pocket-covered Brunello Cucinelli weekender and her roomy white carryall make a strong case for sizing up.

Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon had plenty of room for more than the essentials at the San Sebastián Film Festival on Thursday afternoon.

The couple stepped out in the Spanish city with two sizable takes on the growing big bag comeback: a burgundy suede Brunello Cucinelli weekender for Pitt, and what appears to be a Celine white carryall for de Ramon.

On top of being a roomy bag, Pitt’s $5,590 weekender came with plenty of pockets, including two large flap pockets with buckled straps on one side, with double tabs securing the handles above. The reddish-brown hue of the oversize bag popped against his blue-and-white coords. A backwards blue baseball cap, dark sunglasses and playful yellow sneakers rounded out the casual-cool travel look.

At just under 20 inches long, the Italian-made travel bag has an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap and a water-resistant fabric lining. Inside the luxury weekender bag, there are separate zipped and document pockets, while on the outside, another zip pocket provides additional compartmentalized storage — something of a necessity for carryalls, especially while on the go.

While de Ramon’s cream-hued bag took a less pocket-heavy approach, it did not skimp on the luxury. Carried by its two handles, the oversize bag featured broad side panels, long leather zipper pulls and a small zipped pocket across the front.

The bag looks a lot like the Big Luggage bag from Celine, which comes in a White Cotton-hued grained calfskin.
