Annie Leibovitz to Speak at Moncler’s Manhattan Flagship

The event Thursday is the first in what's expected to be a series of community events at Moncler's new flagship at 767 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

LEIBOVITZ SPEAKS: Legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz will be speaking at Moncler on Fifth Avenue Thursday evening, in the first of what’s expected to be a series of community events at the luxury brand’s new flagship.

Leibovitz’s iconic portraits have helped define contemporary culture for more than five decades. She also photographed six consecutive global campaigns for Moncler from 2014 to 2017. Leibovitz will be joined by Deb Aaronson, her longtime editor at Phaidon, for a discussion spanning her extraordinary career, creative process and enduring approach to image-making as a pioneer in the field. Guests will receive a copy of the newly revised edition of “Annie Leibovitz at Work,” offering a rare look inside her practice and the stories behind some of her most celebrated photographs. Clients and friends of Moncler, students from Parsons School of Design, and members of Leibovitz’s circle of friends and associates, will be attending.

The 23,680-square-foot Moncler flagship, opened last September, dramatically displays Moncler’s unique blend of high fashion and functionality and captures the French luxury brand’s alpine roots and New York City’s urbanscape through art and architectural details.
