Xbox Game Pass Just Confirmed 8 More Day One Games

The ID@Xbox x IGN October 2026 showcase has just wrapped up, and there's a new suite of day one Xbox Game Pass games to look forward to. Over the course of the showcase, a total of eight new Xbox Game Pass games were revealed, all of which will be arriving on the subscription service the day they launch on Xbox consoles and PC.

While the eight new day one Xbox Game Pass releases are sure to be the highlight of the showcase for many, the most recent ID@Xbox event featured plenty of other game announcements. A total of 21 games were showcased during the ID@Xbox October 2026 event. These ranged from updates on long-awaited games like The Wolf Among Us Remastered, to release date confirmations for games like Vanran, to first looks at gameplay for titles like Shrek 2 Remastered.

The Xbox Game Pass catalog is in for another large downsizing wave on October 31, when it is confirmed to be losing at least 8 titles.

Three new day one Xbox Game Pass games have been confirmed for 2026. The first of these to arrive will be Scramble Knights Online , an MMO-lite action-RPG that will launch on Game Pass on October 26, which is only a week away. Three days later, the acclaimed sci-fi horror game Mouthwashing will come to Xbox Game Pass. Finally, on December 4, A Game About Digging a Hole Together will launch as a day one Xbox Game Pass title, offering a co-op version of the 2025 sandbox experience.
