Netflix has had a couple of true gems in 2026, and The Ramparts of Ice shines the brightest. Now, I will say that this show is more of a drama that focuses on relationships than a full-blown romance, and you shouldn't go in expecting a traditional arc. Basically, the story revolves around four teenage friends: Koyuki, Minato, Youta, and Miki. Due to awful experiences in middle school, Koyuki keeps everybody but Miki at arm's length; however, that changes when Minato and Youta stumble their way into her life.
