Steam has always been on the cutting edge of the PC gaming community, continually introducing new features, software improvements, and even its own brand of hardware like the newest Steam Frame VR Headset. Despite the improvements, however, Steam's massive size and the growing number of indie developers have started causing their own share of problems that are getting harder to ignore.
Thankfully, Steam has just introduced a brand-new way to keep track of upcoming and recently released titles that is tailored to your specific gaming interests, while also helping to wade through the influx of AI slop releases.
As outlined on the official Steam page, the new addition to the Store comes in the form of a new release calendar, which shows you a fully curated selection of "recently released and upcoming games filtered down to the set we think you are most likely to be interested in."
Taking into account playtime and users with similar interests as your own, the system is more focused on what you consistently play rather than something you've launched once or twice for a limited amount of time, and will update itself with new user data every day over the 8-week release horizon.
0 release inclusions, DLC, and syncing across all your devices, among other improvements.
