According to IGN, the promotion was first spotted by ResetEra user Jay_Horror , who reported that Sony was sending notifications, offering players up to $400 for their standard PS5 consoles and two controllers only, despite the wide variety of PS5 console and controller colors available . Moreover, the company allows players to choose to receive the money directly into their personal bank accounts instead of getting store credit. Although the full details about who exactly is eligible remain to be confirmed, it seems like existing PlayStation owners can now make some extra cash if they ever decide to return their consoles to Sony.

Consoles PlayStation 2 , PlayStation 3 , PlayStation 4 , PlayStation 5 , PSP
