Fortnite Treasure Hunters is here, bringing a month-long mini-season packed with anime-themed content and a whole lot more. With the season taking place during the month of Rockstar Games' next major release, it looks like Fortnite's answer to competing with Grand Theft Auto 6 is to let players claim the entire Item Shop for free by finding the Pirate Shop Access Token in-game. Here is how you can get access to the Pirate Shop in Fortnite.
Captain X is the mysterious masked antagonist of Fortnite Treasure Hunters (CH7MS1). Here's how you can claim him as a new outfit!
The Pirate Shop is a new free reward that players can obtain from November 1 to December 5, during the Fortnite Treasure Hunters season. This unique feature allows players to claim every item in the Item Shop for free, provided it costs V-Bucks. However, there are a few exceptions.
While players can claim every item in the shop that costs V-Bucks, real-money purchases like Starter Packs and Quest Packs cannot be claimed. Pirate Shop Access owners are also unable to unlock Sidekicks they already own or use the system to gift skins and cosmetics for free. Other than that, all eligible items in the shop are completely free, allowing Pirate Shop Access owners to claim skins and cosmetics, albeit within a 14-day window after activating their token.
To gain access to the Pirate Shop, you will need to be lucky enough to receive it as treasure when opening a Chest in Fortnite .
