Final Fantasy 14: Night in the Brume Officially Revealed

Any new Final Fantasy release is exciting, no matter how big or small it is. Now, Square Enix has officially announced the upcoming release of Final Fantasy 14: Night in the Brume, giving the community something to look forward to before the end of the year.

The history of Final Fantasy 14 is that of one of gaming's great comeback stories. Its initial release in 2010 was a critical and commercial disaster, and Square Enix shut down the MMORPG in November 2012. However, it wasn't giving up on the game, returning with a revamped 2.0 version in August 2013. This version proved immediately more successful, and it maintains a huge player base over 13 years later thanks to consistent updates from Square Enix.

Final Fantasy 14's next crossover is arriving at a pivotal moment for the franchise, and its timing makes the collaboration even more significant.

Square Enix has officially opened pre-orders for a new Final Fantasy 14 music box named Night in the Brume. It features a clear case with internal silver details, letting fans see the mechanical movements as the music track plays. It costs $25.99 and measures 1.38” x 2.36” x 1.97”, making it a very small display piece for fans to add to their collection.

The music box plays the Night in the Brume track from Final Fantasy 14 's original soundtrack , which plays during the nighttime in the Foundation area of Ishgard from the Heavensward expansion. Square Enix's listing for the new Night in the Brume music box says it is planned for release in December 2026, although it also states that this is only an approximate window.
