EA teased that "We've got a lot more to show you," after footage of Motive Studios' Iron Man game leaked
EA finally acknowledged that some gameplay from Motive Studios' upcoming Iron Man leak, although it isn't ready to show more of the game just yet. "See you when we’re ready," the official X account for the game pledged.
Footage of Motive Studios' Iron Man recorded during a test sometime this month made its way online this past week. As Polygon's explainer on the leak broke down, the footage not only showed gameplay of the titular hero flying around in different suits but also confirmed that characters like Pepper Potts, Obadiah Stane, and Madame Masque are in the game.
Considering we haven't seen anything about this Iron Man game since EA first teased the project in 2022, this leak was a big deal. Ultimately, EA determined that this leak was high-profile enough to acknowledge, as it posted on the game's official X account for the first time about the matter.
If you were hoping for an official trailer or first look at gameplay, though, you're out of luck. "Well, that didn't go as planned," the post states. "But now you know, and we've got a lot more to show you. See you when we’re ready."
" Although that's a little disappointing, leaks like this are out of the developer's control, give the public a glimpse at unfinished work they were never meant to see, and are not confirmation that the game is almost done.
