A talented LEGO builder online has completely reworked the 40872 Halloween Pumpkin Lantern set, transforming it into Star Wars' Millennium Falcon without using any extra pieces. Spooky season is almost here, and this custom LEGO build is the perfect Halloween tribute with a hint of a galaxy far, far away mixed in for good measure.
The 40872 Halloween Pumpkin Lantern LEGO set launched earlier this month, just in time for people to start transforming their homes with Halloween-themed decorations. Despite being so new, it hasn't taken long for LEGO fans to see what else is possible with the set in potential alternate builds. In fact, the same builder even transformed the Pumpkin Lantern set into Pokemon's Charmander just a few weeks ago, so it has a lot of versatility.
Warner Bros. offers a new look at what’s coming to its latest LEGO Batman adventure, which has two releases penciled in for September 2026.
Redditor Minute_Food_2881 shared their custom LEGO Millennium Falcon build, which was created using the 40872 Halloween Pumpkin Lantern. Despite its bright orange color, it's still clearly the iconic Star Wars ship, using the ghost as the cockpit in a creative twist. The alternate build uses no additional LEGO pieces not included with the original set, although the builder noted that spare pieces in the box were used.
The LEGO builder has also uploaded instructions for creating this alternate build to Rebrickable . They do cost $3, but it's a small price for such a cool build.
