Disney Officially Reveals Percy Jackson Season 3 Release Schedule

The Rick Riordan adaptation is ditching weekly releases for The Titan's Curse

We finally know exactly when we will be able to watch every episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3. Disney revealed the official release schedule for the third season of its Rick Riordan adaptation at New York Comic Con this weekend, and it comes with a major shake-up.

Disney announced during its Percy Jackson panel that the series will move from weekly episodes to a two-episode-per-week model. As the season will have eight episodes, that means audiences will get to see it all in just one month. Previous seasons followed a traditional model of one episode per week, except for a two-episode premiere. Disney also announced the titles for each episode.

Here's the full Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 release schedule:

Season 3 will adapt The Titan's Curse, which is something of a turning point for the series and the beginning of the end. The story follows Percy (Walker Scobell) as he searches for the missing goddess Athena (Dafne Keen) and his friend Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) while continuing to be caught in the middle of a battle between the gods and the titans. This season is also set to introduce major characters like Rachel Elizabeth Dare and Nico di Angelo (Levi Chrisopulos).

To raise interest in the series before season 3 premieres on Nov. 20, Disney brought the first two seasons of the show to Netflix. The limited-time deal will last three months.
