Disney+, Hulu Price Hike: Check the New Subscription Rates

Walt Disney raised Disney+ and Hulu subscription prices across several plans in the United States. The latest Disney+ price hike took effect on September 23, 2026, raising ad-free plans by USD 2.50 monthly. 

Disney also increased Hulu prices by the same amount, while smaller increases affect ad-supported subscriptions. The company structured the changes to make combined Disney+ and Hulu plans more appealing. 

The Disney+ and Hulu price hike pushes standalone ad-free subscriptions to USD 21.49 monthly. Both services now charge USD 12.49 for their individual ad-supported plans after a USD 0.50 increase. 

The ad-free Disney+ and Hulu bundle costs USD 21.99 monthly, only 50 cents above either standalone service. The ad-supported bundle remains unchanged at USD 12.99 per month for subscribers. 

The new structure creates a major gap between separate subscriptions and Disney's combined offerings. Paying separately for both ad-free services now costs USD 42.98 every month. 

The combined ad-free subscription costs exactly half that amount, at USD 21.99 monthly. This pricing makes the bundle significantly more prominent within Disney's streaming strategy.

Disney also raised prices for selected packages that include ESPN. The Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Select ad-supported bundle now costs USD 21.99 monthly. 

Its premium ad-free version increased from USD 29.99 to USD 32.99 per month. Disney kept the ESPN Unlimited bundles unchanged at USD 35.99 and USD 44.99 monthly. 

The latest increase marks the fourth consecutive year of higher Disney streaming prices. Disney last raised prices in 2025, continuing a broader industry trend across major streaming platforms.
