The Angry Birds franchise has launched Angry Birds Tower Defense, a new multiplayer Roblox game published by Rovio and developed by The Gang.
Launching just weeks ahead of The Angry Birds Movie 3’s premiere in theaters, the game brings together the classic Angry Birds games and animated movie worlds in a playful Roblox experience.
Blending Angry Birds’ characters and bird-slinging fun with the strategic gameplay of tower defense, the game invites players to build their flock, unlock and customize bird towers, hold off hordes of enemies and play alongside friends. Angry Birds Tower Defense is now available to play in Roblox.
The experience features characters and visual styles from across the Angry Birds franchise, including the games and animated movies, creating a playful collision of two sides of the Angry Birds universe.
As players progress through chapters, they’ll encounter new enemies, environments and challenges, earn experience points and unlock and upgrade bird towers to make their flock even more powerful. Players can also get together with friends in multiplayer co-op, working as a team to build their ultimate flock defense and send wave after wave of Piggies packing.
“Angry Birds has always been about bringing people together through fun, memorable characters and gameplay that’s easy to pick up and enjoy,” said Ben Mattes, creative officer for Angry Birds, in a press release.
