Nykaa's profit jumps 3X to Rs 101 Cr in Q2 FY27; revenue grows 28%

Online beauty and fashion platform Nykaa reported strong growth in Q2 FY27, with its revenue from operations increasing 28% year-on-year, while its net profit surged over threefold during the quarter ended September 2026.

Nykaa's revenue from operations grew to Rs 3,006 crore in Q2 FY27, compared to Rs 2,346 crore in Q2 FY26, according to its consolidated financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The beauty segment continued to dominate the company's revenue, contributing Rs 2,700 crore or 90% of its operating revenue during the quarter. The fashion segment generated Rs 287 crore, accounting for 10% of the total operating revenue, while other segments contributed Rs 19 crore.

For Nykaa, the cost of materials consumed remained the largest expense, accounting for 56.64% of its total expenditure. This expense increased 25.7% to Rs 1,624 crore in Q2 FY27 from Rs 1,292 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year.

Employee benefit expenses grew 20% to Rs 220 crore, while depreciation expenses increased 18% to Rs 93 crore. Finance costs declined 3% to Rs 30.52 crore. Other expenses, which include marketing, technology and other overheads, increased 26% to Rs 899 crore.

The company's total expenses rose 25% to Rs 2,867 crore in Q2 FY27 from Rs 2,298 crore in Q2 FY26.

The growth in operating revenue, coupled with a slower increase in expenses, helped Nykaa improve its profitability. The company's net profit tripled to Rs 101 crore in Q2 FY27, compared to Rs 33 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year.
