Pune-based last-mile delivery startup Dispatch Network has raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Antler India, with participation from angel investors Krishi Fagwani, founder of Thrive, Yashin Mahadevia and Parth Modwadhia.
The fresh capital will be used to expand the company's artificial intelligence (AI) team working on its proprietary Large Logistics Spatio-Temporal Model (LLSTM), a foundation AI model designed for intracity logistics and mobility, Dispatch Network said in a press release.
The startup plans to expand its operations to 50,000 orders per day across five cities.
Co-founded in 2023 by Rajit Arya and Navneeth Kannan, Dispatch operates a last-mile delivery network that uses AI to optimise order allocation, rider productivity and delivery routes.
The company's model sequences orders across multiple platforms, determining which order a rider should take next and where they should wait for subsequent deliveries.
According to the company, its network has processed over 100,000 deliveries since launching in June 2026. Monthly delivery volumes increased from 3,014 in June to 55,000 in October. The startup currently handles around 3,500 deliveries per day.
Dispatch said its model has reduced empty kilometres by two-thirds, while riders earn approximately 55% more per month compared to the industry average. The company also reported rider retention 80% higher than the industry average.
The startup currently serves food delivery and quick-commerce platforms, including Zomato, Swiggy, Zepto, Instamart and BigBasket. It also works with restaurants and stores through direct APIs and the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).
Following its launch in Pune, Dispatch plans to expand to Mumbai in November 2026.
