Worldwide, Mondelez’s net revenues were up 2.3% year over year to $9.97 billion in the third quarter, according to the release.

Mondelez’s new revenues in North America were up 1.1% to $2.85 billion, according to the release. Consumer spending in North America continued to grow, even though consumer confidence was still pressured by energy prices. Shoppers sought value channels and smaller packs, though premium and “better-for-you” options also grew, Mondelez said in a Q3 2026 Results presentation released Thursday.
“In North America, I would say consumer confidence remains soft, driven by energy and fuel prices,” Van de Put said during a Thursday earnings call. “And, to be honest, I don’t think its going to improve anytime soon. The K-shaped economy continues, where the growth is really coming from the higher-income households.”
