The acquisition continues to expand Numerix’s quantitative analytics capabilities, particularly across fixed income, rates and credit curve construction, derivatives valuation, and risk management. Suite’s ALib technology has been developed and used in institutional production environments for more than two decades, supporting financial institutions across a range of pricing, analytics, and risk workflows. Suite was founded in 2001, and ALib traces its origins to analytics technology developed at J.P. Morgan and later Cygnifi.
“Suite brings deep expertise in rates and credit analytics, with a strong reputation among leading financial institutions,” said Manny Conti, CEO of Numerix. “Combining Suite’s capabilities with Numerix further strengthens our analytics platform and expands the value we deliver to clients around the world.”
ALib provides analytics for derivatives pricing, bond valuation, curve generation, scenario analysis, stress testing, cash flow analysis, and risk management. Its coverage spans derivatives across interest rates, foreign exchange, credit, and equities, as well as government, corporate, emerging-market, and mortgage-backed securities. ALib is designed for use across spreadsheets and enterprise technology environments through a range of programming interfaces.
