Credit cards to support corporate salary package acquisition and existing customer growth
Kolkata based Bandhan Bank expects its credit card issuances to reach around 1 lakh by the end of FY27, with the lender using the product as part of its corporate salary account proposition and broader customer acquisition strategy , MD & CEO Partha Pratim Sengupta said. The bank has issued 34,000 credit cards since launching the programme on August 23, making the business around two months old, Sengupta said during the bank's Q2 FY27 media call. The credit card proposition is closely linked to Bandhan Bank's plans to expand its corporate salary account business. Sengupta said the card would be a strategy towards acquiring corporate salary packages, while also supporting the bank's existing business growth and helping it acquire new customers. Advt
