The Renault 4 E-Tech electric follows in the footsteps of its sibling, the Renault 5, and now also benefits from an update. From now on, it offers more range, improved equipment in detail, and a lower price. Additionally, Renault introduces the special edition "Roland-Garros". We explain where the unique features lie.
Following the update of the Renault 5, the Renault 4 is now next in line, and as before, there is also a price reduction. Renault unveiled the revised version at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, where the Renault 4 E-Tech electric update was showcased for the first time, sporting new exterior mirrors and an underbody panel for improved aerodynamics. The UK order books for the Renault 5 opened in September just passed.
These improvements result in a slight increase in range, so the Urban Range version with a 40-kWh battery and 90-kW motor now achieves 310 km, which is two kilometres further than before the update. For the Comfort Range version with 52 kWh and 110 kW, the range increases to 415 km—six kilometres more —and for the Plein Sud with a fabric roof, it now reaches 402 km, exactly 10 km more.
The new entry-level price is now €27,690, which is €1,810 lower than before the update. Starting at €37,490, the Renault 4 Roland-Garros E-Tech electric is also available as a special edition. It features a two-tone paint finish with black A-pillars and roof rails, and one of the following paint colours: “arctic white”, “slate grey”, “black pearl black”, or “terracotta brown”.
