Bijliride has partnered with Flipkart Minutes to deploy electric two-wheelers across five cities for last-mile deliveries during the festive season. The tie-up combines rentals, battery support, maintenance and telematics to improve uptime and lower operating costs for gig workers. The move also fits Flipkart Minutes' longer-term electric mobility target and highlights how EV adoption in logistics is now being driven by delivery economics as much as sustainability.

Festive demand is forcing quick commerce platforms to rethink the economics of the last mile, and electric two-wheelers are moving from pilot projects to operating assets. In one of the latest such moves, Bijliride has tied up with Flipkart Minutes to support electric deliveries across five large urban markets as order volumes build ahead of the shopping season.
The partnership is designed to do more than simply add vehicles to the road. It combines rentals, battery support, maintenance and fleet monitoring in a model aimed at keeping delivery riders moving through peak hours, when downtime can quickly eat into margins and earnings alike.
Under the arrangement, Bijliride will deploy electric two-wheelers in phases in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune. The rollout will be scaled according to delivery demand and rider onboarding, rather than being limited to a fixed allocation. That approach gives the fleet flexibility as order density changes city by city during the festive period.
The move reflects a broader shift across e-commerce and quick commerce, where operators are under pressure to cut running costs while improving vehicle availability.
