Alfa Romeo's New Sports Car Teases A Four-Seat Layout: Video

There’s plenty of anticipation surrounding the debut of the Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso, the brand’s next sports car concept. It's set to debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show in just a few days. The concept is expected to preview a future production model from the BottegaFuoriserie division.

We expected the Cuorerosso to take a page from the 33 Stradale’s playbook, including its two-seat coupe layout. But that may not actually be the case. In a new teaser posted to social media—likely the last before its debut—Alfa Romeo gives us a glimpse of the concept’s interior, with a particular focus on the seats.

The big surprise? There appear to be four seats, suggesting Alfa Romeo is working on something larger than a traditional sports coupe. Watch the full clip below:

The Cuorerosso could be a GT car instead of a true sports car, which would be rare air for Alfa Romeo.

We haven't seen a true Alfa tourer since the 156-based GT went out of production in 2011. That would put it in a different category than the 33 Stradale, with a larger body and a different mechanical layout. Rear-wheel drive, however, is almost certainly still part of the package.

The teaser puts the Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso’s seats front and center. They feature a sporty, heavily bolstered design, with a red seatback for the driver and a distinctive black, triangular headrest.

Beyond the few glimpses offered in its teaser videos, the Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso remains largely a mystery.
