The Oscar-nominated actress attended Sunday night's New York City premiere of "The Social Reckoning."
Wunmi Mosaku brought a healthy dose of sparkle and shine in a Christian Siriano gown to “The Social Reckoning” premiere at New York City’s Regal Union Square on Sunday night.
The Oscar-nominated “Sinners” star wore a look from the American designer’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection. Featuring a structured style with sinuous lines and a touch of asymmetry frin the one-shoulder strap and thigh-high slit, the gown featured all over sequins in a pop of royal blue.
Mosaku’s dress was formfitting and merged timeless elegance with a scintillating, sensual appeal by contemporary standards. The actress added sandal heels and a pair of Nicole Rose three tiered diamond dangle earrings tom complete the shimmering look.
As for glam, Mosaku turned to makeup artist Keita Moore, who gave Mosaku a slight pop of color with cool eye shadow accentuating the blue tone of the actress’ dress. Vernon François styled Mosaku’s hair with plenty of volume. Stylist Shameelah Hicks curated Mosaku’s premiere look.
Colorful styling has always been a significant part of Mosaku’s red carpet wardrobe. From designs by Matthew Reisman to Ahluwalia, bold uses of yellow and blue were a theme throughout Mosaku’s 2026 awards season for “Sinners,” for which she received an Oscar nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role.
That same use of color was highly evident in Christian Siriano ’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection. “The world has changed and Siriano wanted a bit of defiance on his runway,” Thomas Waller wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
