Crystal-covered denim and mirrored pockets are statement details in True Religion’s new limited-edition collection.
On Thursday, the urban casual lifestyle apparel brand will launch That Baddie Drop, an annual franchise known for its bold designs rooted in True Religion’s denim heritage. The new assortment plays with contrasts by emphasizing soft and hard, fitted and baggy, pretty and powerful.
“Baddies has always been about women who embody confidence, individuality and bold self-expression and know they can take on the world when they put on a pair of True Religion jeans. This year, we wanted to push that further by focusing on what makes someone’s style uniquely their own,” said Kristen D’Arcy, True Religion’s chief marketing officer.
The collection spans low-rise and bootcut denim, cargo silhouettes, cropped baby tees, oversized jackets and statement layers. Pieces are reworked with crystal details, lace, embroidery, cargo pockets, wing graphics, patches, faux leather and True Religion’s signature stitching.
Eight custom-made styles, each limited to just 100 pieces, are at the heart of the collection. Crystal-covered denim, mirrored pockets, wing graphics, lace trim, bows and other over-the-top details make these the most exclusive pieces in the drop. “Once those are sold out, they’re gone,” D’Arcy said.
The Wing Cargo Jort features a relaxed fit, cargo pockets and oversized wing graphics. A black fleece set features lace, bows and embroidery.
