Temu and the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition have launched the IACC-Temu Program, giving IACC member brands a new way to raise complex intellectual property disputes on the marketplace.
The programme adds a dedicated process alongside Temu's existing reporting channels for rights holders. IACC members can escalate disputed notices through the IACC Global Portal, submit keywords and images to support detection work, and hold regular check-ins with Temu on enforcement issues.
Under the arrangement, participants get direct one-to-one access to Temu intellectual property specialists for cases that need further review. Temu said each escalation filed through the programme will receive a response within 48 hours.
The move deepens ties between the eCommerce platform and the anti-counterfeiting group after Temu joined the IACC as a General Member earlier this year. The IACC represents brands concerned with trademark counterfeiting and related intellectual property theft.
For brands, the new channel is meant for cases that go beyond routine takedown requests, including pending notices, rejected notices and complaints a rights holder wants reviewed again.
Temu said the programme forms part of a wider effort to identify suspect listings before rights holders report them. According to its 2026 Intellectual Property Protection Report, proactive removals of potentially infringing listings outnumbered complaint-based takedowns by 331 to one.
The report also said Temu's proactive monitoring database now covers more than 15,000 brands, about three times the level a year earlier. 5 million keywords, with material submitted through the new programme feeding into the process.
