Slayyyter Brings Showgirl Style to ‘Late Night’ in Myat and Reveals Details Behind Her Vintage Showgirl Dress Collection

The singer once wore an old showgirl dress made of "hazardous materials."

Slayyyter embraced the life of a showgirl with her Myat dress on Monday night’s episode of “Late Night With Seth Meyers” on Monday, during which she shared details on her vintage showgirl dress collection and the “hazardous material” that caused her to have an allergic reaction to one dress.

But first, Slayyyter’s late-night look: the “Brand New Chanel$” singer sported a design from Myat’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection, which debuted during London Fashion Week in February.

The strapless lilac dress was crafted with a fitted bodice and a high-low skirt design, all of which included a distressed aesthetic with torn fabric and frayed pieces. “In my head, all of this collection is about one girl. She’s messy, still trying to figure out who she is and what she’s becoming,” Erica Myat, the founder and creative director of her namesake brand, told WWD ahead of February’s London Fashion Week.

“Every look is a stage in her journey. We’re going from her rejecting and trying to erase herself to acceptance and reclaiming who she wants to be, and in the end, she becomes fully herself.”

The fall 2026 design by Myat that Slayyyter wore certainly evoked those distressed qualities, but it also brought in plenty showgirl energy that spotlighted Slayyyter’s love of and appreciation for fashion history. The singer confessed to Meyers that she is “a bit of a hoarder” when it comes to the showgirl costumes she’s collected over the years.
