The seven-step treatment is designed to combat skin laxity and dullness associated with rapid weight loss, offering a noninvasive solution for GLP-1 medication users.
Facial bar Silver Mirror is addressing the GLP-1 trend with a new treatment that doesn’t involve filler.
The facial, named GLP-1 Volmira, has been designed to tackle reports by some GLP-1 users that skin looks less full and less firm during rapid weight loss.
The seven-step facial includes a cleanse; a professional biostimulating step applied to the skin with no needles; lifting; nano-infusion with a no-puncture tip; a cold biocellulose mask; LED, and finishing serums and SPF.
“It was driven by the guests first, then secondly by our own executive team’s personal experience with GLP-1s. Just look at the statistics. It’s pretty enormous in terms of what people are searching for. There’s 135,000 searches a month on just ‘Ozempic face’ alone,” said Silver Mirror cofounder Matt Maroone.
“We went through a ton of different concepts and really busted our butts to get it out because we really wanted to pioneer it, and we feel like we have an incredible plan,” he continued.
It will be available at all 10 studios in New York, Miami and Washington, D.C., and priced at $299 per visit, or a Volmira membership at $239 a month. Silver Mirror recommends three Volmira visits, one a month, followed by three months of complementary facials, then repeating the cycle.
“This is not a medical procedure, and we are clear about that,” Maroone added.
