Nat Habit raises Rs 142 crore, targets 5x manufacturing capacity and 2 lakh stores

Nat Habit has secured Rs 142 crore in Series C funding to expand its manufacturing capacity and distribution network. The brand aims to increase its manufacturing capacity fivefold and reach 2 lakh stores over three years. Currently, it generates significant revenue from offline retail, with plans to enter modern trade soon. Product development will focus on existing categories while exploring additions like serums and sunscreens.

Homegrown personal care brand Nat Habit has raised Rs 142 crore in a Series C funding round led by Trident Growth Partners, as it looks to expand manufacturing capacity fivefold to 5 million units a month and scale its offline distribution network from 20,000 to 2 lakh stores over the next three years. The all-primary round also saw participation from existing investors Bertelsmann India Investments, Mirabilis Investment Trust and Sharrp Ventures, alongside new investors Physis Capital and Hero Family Office. The funding comes as the brand’s annualised gross revenue reaches Rs 330 crore. “We are in the growth phase, but it’s an early growth phase where there are signals of both channel placement as well as product-market share,” said Swagatika Das , co-founder, Nat Habit. “The piece now is to expand into a newer set of audiences that we had not been reaching out to, which is basically the Bharat audience.” Advt

The brand plans to deploy the capital across product development, distribution expansion, marketing and manufacturing. Its Gurgaon facility currently spans 40,000 sq ft and ships around 1 million units a month.
