Mariah Carey Brings Her Christmas Magic to Gucci’s New Holiday Campaign

The Queen of Christmas stars in a new holiday film directed by Harmony Korine, complete with a hotel makeover and her signature holiday hit.

Mariah Carey is getting into the Christmas spirit with Gucci. The Grammy Award-winning singer stars in the Italian luxury fashion label’s new holiday campaign video, appearing in winter styles with her signature sense of glamour.

Directed by filmmaker Harmony Korine, the campaign film follows hotel staff in a mad dash to ready a suite for Carey’s arrival. A Christmas tree with wrapped packages beneath, bulb ornaments, string lights and more turn the hotel into an elegant and elevated winter wonderland.

Carey, meanwhile, sports pieces from Gucci’s new Butterfly collection, which is inspired by the butterfly’s iridescent wings. The motif has a special connection to Carey, too: Her 1997 album was titled “Butterfly.”

The campaign film, which also features the singer’s hit holiday tune “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” is accompanied by a series of images spotlighting holiday gifts from the Italian luxury fashion house. Bold designs include a range of leather goods, shoes and accessories.

Pieces spotlighted in the campaign imagery include the Starlet, Gucci duffel and GG Marmont bags, along with the Paparazzo in supple suede calfskin. Gifts and pieces that can easily elevate a holiday wardrobe also feature throughout.

The GG Monogram boots, Horsebit loafers, Ace sneakers and Vittoria pumps are among footwear finds featured in the campaign. Winter essentials like beanies and scarves round out the selection.

Gucci’s 2026 holiday film has no shortage of glamour or Christmas theatrics, both familiar territory for Carey.
