The French beauty maker saw a solid return to growth in Asia, driven by China, and revised upward its full-year sales expectations.
PARIS – Interparfums SA said it expects full-year sales to reach the high end of company guidance, causing its stock price to jump Wednesday.
The French beauty maker of Jimmy Choo, Coach and Montblanc fragrances reported its sales in the three months ended Sept. 30 reached 265.5 million euros, up 4.8 percent in reported terms versus the same prior-year period. At constant exchange rates, company sales grew 4.6 percent.
“Our activity regained more favorable momentum over the summer, allowing us to target the top of our sales guidance of around 870 million euros for 2026 as a whole,” Philippe Benacin, chairman and chief executive officer of Interparfums SA, said in a statement.
The group saw a solid return to growth in Asia, driven by a strong performance in China, after a mixed performance at the beginning of 2026. The region posted gains of close to 32 percent in the third quarter and 8 percent in the nine months.
“We nevertheless remain prudent for the fourth quarter, in view of an international context that continues to be complicated, not least in the Middle East and Eastern Europe,” Benacin said.
“We should not forget the strong seasonality of the American market, structurally focused towards the months of November and December,” he continued.
