Flipkart promoted Renuka Singaram from vice-president to senior vice-president in October 2026, placing its quick commerce arm Minutes, non-large supply chain, and design organisation under her expanded leadership. Flipkart Group chief executive Kalyan Krishnamurthy announced the promotion amid several leadership elevations across the business.
Singaram joined Flipkart in October 2014 following a five-year tenure at Dell India between 2009 and 2014. Her remit includes non-large shipment logistics alongside Minutes, which competes against quick commerce rivals Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart.
Flipkart Internet, which houses the group’s e-commerce operations, posted an 18 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to ₹1,45,880 crore in FY26. Consolidated net loss narrowed to ₹8,468 crore from ₹8,646 crore in FY25, according to regulatory filings.
Minutes operates in an aggressive segment that demands localized dark-store networks, tight picking windows, and sub-15-minute couriers. Handling standard non-large parcel delivery alongside rapid fulfilment gives Singaram direct use over inventory flow and local warehousing costs.
Quick commerce operators burn working capital on micro-hubs situated within expensive residential catchments. By integrating quick deliveries with its broader non-large parcel network, Flipkart aims to sweat existing urban nodes and cut fulfilment overheads per parcel. Rival platforms run dedicated, standalone dark stores that face rising lease renewals across Tier 1 cities.

The margin for error in quick fulfilment remains thin.
