Can a Pump Also Be a Thong Sandal? Priyanka Chopra Jonas Tries Out a Unique Hybrid Style

Chopra Jonas modeled a Christian Louboutin x Matières Fécales shoe style in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas tried out a unique hybrid shoe on Thursday, pulling a collaborative Matières Fécales x Christian Louboutin style straight from spring 2027 Paris Fashion Week.

In attendance at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards in Los Angeles, Chopra modeled a head-to-toe look from Matières Fécales’ spring 2027 collection which was showcased less than a month ago in Paris. The lustrous pink two-piece look was grounded by a matching pink shoe that continues the collaborative relationship between the rising avant-garde brand Matières Fécales and Christian Louboutin.

The style blended two popular silhouettes — it was thong sandal in the front and pump in the back, with an open-toe design and enclosed back.

The silhouette was elevated by a curved stiletto heel, a defining element in Matières Fécales and Christian Louboutin’s designs.

Matières Fécales and Christian Louboutin’s shoes have been receiving some celebrity buzz lately. Rihanna attended Matières Fécales’ spring 2027 show recently wearing the brands’ curved pumps in black patent leather. Zendaya wore the white heel-less pumps at the New York premiere for “The Odyssey.”

And Gabbriette had several Matières Fécales x Christian Louboutin shoes on hand for her wedding, including a bow-adorned pump covered in ruched white tulle.

Matières Fécales was founded by Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran; the label made its Paris Fashion Week debut in March 2025, featuring several collaborative shoes with Louboutin.
