You Can Now Get The Kia EV3 At US Dealerships — Dream EV!

When it comes to most things, you pay less for something that’s smaller. In the car business, that rule typically holds true as well. Smaller cars typically cost less than larger ones (unless they come with a ton of power). That also gives the impression generally that smaller cars are worse. Personally, I disagree. I much prefer smaller cars. They are much more enjoyable to drive. They are more efficient. They are easier to park in most places. And they typically still do and offer everything I want from a car.

When Kia announced the EV3, I was in love, but I figured Kia wouldn’t send it to the United States — since Americans more than anyone else don’t buy small cars. When it was launched three years ago, there was no mention it would come to the US, as Steve Hanley reported at the time. However, in 2024, it was announced the model would come to the USA! It also started winning notable awards. “Is The Kia EV3 The EV We’ve Been Waiting For? Golden Steering Wheel Team Says Yes,” I wrote in November 2024. In 2025, it won World Car of the Year. Clearly, the car has done well and been a hit.

Two months ago, Steve Hanley shared that the EV3 would be built in Mexico for the North American market . Now, the Kia EV3 is in US dealerships! I don’t know if the model will do well in the US — since, as I already explained, Americans don’t typically buy small cars — but it is now my dream car on the market.
