TestFlight now works in landscape as Apple prepares for iPhone Duo

Apple updated TestFlight this week with support for landscape orientation, and for macOS 27 Golden Gate’s new resizable iPhone Mirroring window. Here are the details.

Earlier this month, Apple released macOS 27 Golden Gate with support for resizing the iPhone Mirroring window in additional aspect ratios.

When the feature first appeared in macOS 27 Golden Gate beta 1, many saw it as an obvious step in preparation for Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone.

That connection became even clearer during the iPhone Duo event, when Apple said it had worked to adapt every native iOS app to support the device’s many poses for the inner and outer displays.

This week, the company also updated TestFlight with support for landscape orientation and the additional aspect ratios introduced with iPhone Mirroring in macOS 27 Golden Gate.

In landscape, TestFlight switches from a single-column app list to a two-column layout. The app details screen also makes better use of the extra horizontal space, placing the App and Developer information panels side by side below the What to Test, Preview, and App Description sections.

The iPhone Duo is set to go on presale starting October 16, with availability beginning October 23. Starting at $1,999 in the US, it features a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch foldable inner display.
