It’s a fresh era for both of these European giants as new head coaches take charge of Italy and Belgium in this standout opening UEFA Nations League fixture in Rome.

Today’s game marks the beginning of Roberto Mancini’s second stint in charge of the hosts as the former Manchester City boss looks to restore some Italian pride after its failure to qualify for a third straight World Cup.

Belgium, meanwhile, comes into the game having given a decent account of itself in the summer, after reaching the quarterfinals at the World Cup before losing to eventual champions Spain. With Rudi Garcia’s contract not extended following that tournament, former Dutch international midfielder Mark van Bommel now takes charge of the Red Devils for the first time today.

Italy hosts Belgium at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Friday, Sept. 25. Kickoff is at 8:45 p.m. CEST in Italy, which is 7:45 p.m. BST in the UK. That’s a 2:45 p.m. ET or 11:45 a.m. PT kickoff in the US and Canada and a 4:45 a.m. AEST start on Saturday in Australia.

Friday’s game is on Fox Sports 1. If you don’t have the channel in your cable lineup, there are a number of online alternatives. All the major live TV streaming services carry Fox Sports 1. You can also stream games broadcast on Fox with the Fox One streaming app.
