Qi2 or MagSafe have always been one of the wildest but useful additions to phones like the Google Pixel or iPhone, and the best accessory might just be another display on its own. Xteink’s magnetic mini e-readers, like the X4 Pro, are on sale while stock lasts during its autumn sale.
I don’t personally believe there is a perfect e-reader size, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a tiny e-reader on hand when you want to knock out another chapter. The Xteink X4 Pro and Classic models fit that mold with a corner-to-corner size of just 4.3 inches. Both fall under 6mm thick, so they don’t sit too pronounced when stuck to the back of your phone.
An e-reader doesn’t need to be fancy, just good. At $109 and $89 for the Xteink Pro and Classic, respectively, these are certainly good options for many users.
Right now, though, both have dropped by a $10 discount during Xteink’s fall sale. That puts the Xteink X4 Pro at $99 and the X4 Classic model at $79. It’s not a massive discount, but it’s enough to make the Pro version more approachable. It has a couple of advantages, like a front light for night reading and a bigger battery.
An illuminated display makes a huge difference, especially if you tend to read during your commute or want to put your phone down before bed and don’t want to keep the lights on while you fight to stay awake through what just so happens to be the longest chapter in the book.
